In August 2021, a large amount of business data from Bureau van Dijk's "Orbis" product was leaked on a hacking forum. The data, sourced from a customer, included extensive information about corporations and individuals. There was no unauthorized access to Bureau van Dijk's systems or exposure of their clients' data.
